A little disappointed – This was one of those things that looked cute, but it was a bit on the cheaper side. It was tough to get everything inside especially the gravel. My daughter ended up just playing with the mermaid.

Okay, it’s cute but use a hot glue gun instead of the glue included – When we first opened this, we prepared it with everything provided in the kit. My 3 year old was so excited and loves the finished product. However, the glue included in the kit is not the best. I ended up hot glueing everything to the base (including the stones) because it all fell apart. With that being said, I think it’s a fair price and my daughter loves it (especially the light). She was a little upset that she didn’t get the red headed mermaid but she’s okay. I think they have 3 different mermaids and you’re sent one at random. It’s a fun activity to do with your child.

Cute & Easy to Put Together – I’m mostly reviewing the quality of the set. I needed a quick and cheap way make my idea come to life. Thankfully this set comes with two different types of lights (1 AA Battery & 1 Lithium) that I was able to choose from. I went with AA. I appreciated the little figurines they came with. I used them as detail decorations as the Funko Pop is the focal point of my item. I love that the cover fits perfectly into the base to prevent it from easily falling off. I used all their stuff with my own figures. It came out perfectly!!

Amazing – I’m sorry I haven’t left a review for this product I bought a year ago. I have to say it really is amazing. My kids had a blast making it and it is so adorable and made to their liking so makes it very special. I will definitely buy this again. Amazing.

Cute with drawbacks – This was a gift for my 5 year old daughter who loves everything about mermaids. She really liked how the mermaid looked just like Ariel, but I guess it’s random which design you get. She was excited and it was a cute activity to do together. However, I took off one star because the plastic dome does not fit into the circle cutout on the wooden base so it just keeps coming off. Also, it came with 2 sets of fairy lights (one with included CR batteries and one with a empty battery pack). The one with CR batteries did not work at all. We tried replacing the batteries, but no luck. Thus, the 3 star rating.
