nice preschool toy – This is a nice toy for the classroom. I use it as a center in my 3 year old class. The kids seem to enjoy it. This can be used as a game one on one or individually. It is make of nice wood and appears to be built to last.

Good learning toy – This is a pretty good shape/color sorter. We have another that is much more robust, but got this one because it’s more versatile with the cards and different options. I think maybe it would be used to its fuller potential at the 3 yr old range (my son is almost 2).

Very nice well-made educational product and will be used at my wife’s Family Daycare. – I’ve mentioned in other reviews that my wife is a state licensed family daycare provider in our home. She’s always looking for well made educational toys and items that can be used for “Learning Time” and this fits the bill perfectly. Being able to use this in multiple ways for different age children is a huge plus, from simple colors to math. The fit and finish is very good, the wood is good quality, and the colors are smooth and vibrant. The cards for different activities are a nice touch that adds a lot of options for learning. The only negative I can think of is that this is rated for 1-3 years old, and I personally think the shapes may be a little small for an unsupervised 1 year old that puts things in their mouth. That doesn’t mean a 1-year-old can’t use it, since they certainly can, but it would be better as a supervised learning toy in my opinion for that age. Very pleased with this item!
