It’s a long lasting toy – I love this toy. I brought it for my son last Christmas and he still plays it and it’s Christmas again. He is very roughy with toys but this robot held up. It looks brand new a year later. This toy is definitely a must buy for children that love Ryan toys.

Not worth the high price tag – I bought the Ryan’s World Boss Mode Combo Panda for my 5 year old grandson. He was so excited when he opened it, but after a few minutes he was disappointed. Most toys seem great in the ad, but less interesting in reality. This is one of them. When toy manufacturers hype their product with slick promotions that misrepresent the actual play value and market it to millions of families who can barely afford the cost, they’re hurting the parents, but it’s far worse that they are betraying the children. Bottom line, this toy isn’t worth the high price tag. It is basically a plastic shell of a panda “robot” (O.K., I don’t understand the character, but I think it’s related to a YouTube show). It comes with 3 small figurines and another plastic object that’s supposed to be a combo glider/remote control. From the front, it is a cute figure made of reasonably sturdy plastic. The problem is that it’s mostly a single piece plastic shell with moveable arms. I thought it would be the whole doll that opens to show the interior, but it’s just a façade. The back of the figure is the open back of the shell with a few paper stick-ons that suggest it’s a control room or some such. The legs and head don’t move or bend, although the back of one leg is shaped like a slide that the little play figures can slide down, but it doesn’t work, they just fall out. In fact, for such a large toy, there are only a few moveable parts to engage the child. One arm can be extended as if it’s punching and the other arm can shoot a small plastic dart. My grandson settled for aiming the dart at the three small figurines, but within 1/2 hour, the dart was lost. It was the only interesting activity and now it’s useless. Who sells an expensive toy that includes only one dart? It’s the cheapest piece in the set; at least include a few extra. The part that looks like a remote control can be attached to the back of the panda. It has lots of buttons, but only two move. We looked for a place to insert batteries in the hope that something would move, light up, or play sounds, but no luck. It can be detached and has a little seat so it can be used separately as a pretend glider, which is a nice touch. I think stimulating a child’s imagination is a great idea and toys without batteries have my vote, but charging parents $50 without having some exciting features makes it just another over-hyped, over-priced, unimpressive toy. It is way too expensive for the play value it offers.

Obsessed – My son loves it. It’s heavy plastic material and no need for batteries. The pump fist works great. The missle only shot once and wouldn’t work after that but didn’t stop my son from loving this toy. We have had hours of imagination play. It was a great buy. I highly suggest it.

Best Ryan toy – We’re not a fan of all the cheap Ryan toys, but this one is made very well and my loves it. Would definitely recommend

Just Meh – This toy is way overpriced for what you are getting but I find that is the case for ALL Ryan’s world toys. Probably why Ryan is the highest paid YouTuber of 2020. My kid REALLY wanted this for Christmas though so I caved. My biggest complaint is that there is a controller attachment for this toy that does nothing electronic. It turns into a glider for the figures that you can act like is flying around. This sort of bummed my kid out discovering that he can’t control the robot with the controller. There is actually NOTHING electronic on this toy which makes in just meh. But surprisingly my son loved the toy and said it was his favorite. He played and talked about it none stop for the week after Christmas. It’s maybe worth 25-30 dollars tops but it made my kids Christmas so that made it worth it. If your kid doesn’t love Ryan’s world, this isn’t a toy to gamble on in my opinion.

No bells and whistles – This product is very basic and falls in line with the entire line of Ryan’s world products in that it is very cheaply made with an expensive price tag. I knew going into buying this that it would be junk but it’s all my son wanted for his 4th birthday so I gave in and bought it. The item doesn’t do anything, no sounds or buttons which honestly I’m ok with, I don’t think kids need that on every toy, I just don’t think it’s really justified in being as expensive as toys who do have those things. My son is happy with it, if your child is ok playing with a toy and using their imagination they will like it just fine, otherwise I would suggest something else.

Don’t buy. NOT worth the price – My daughter has been BEGGING me for this (and Ryan’s treasure box ♀️). Literally every single day she asks for it. So I was supposed to be ordering it as a Christmas gift. Which was ruined when it came in packaging that had Ryan’s face all over the shipping box. So she got it today. Which I told myself not to get mad about it, surely this thing she wants SO badly will keep her entertained and happy. She was happy. But she was over it in 10mins. Even as a 2 & 1/2 yo she said “this is it?” “What does it do?!” And I said…. This is it baby. It’s called a robot. It has this giant controller. It makes no sounds. Does nothing. Not even a light anywhere. No batteries required for this giant chuck of plastic to do…. NOTHING! The ONLY “neat” feature is the button that shoots out a green thing. And they give you a whole whopping ONE of them. Congrats Ryan’s World…. You scammed me out of $50. You guys really needed it Parents don’t buy this for your kids it is WAY overpriced and your child will be bored of it the second they realize it does nothing. HUGE disappointment. I would return it but my 2yo would throw a fit if I mentioned it, because she is 2 and that’s what 2 year olds do about most things. I will never buy a Ryan’s world toy again after this. What a waste of money.
