Not as cool as it looks – I felt like it is not that interesting for smaller kids. Just messy. Older kids might find it more fun. Volcano would be more fun if there was a way to have slime erupt out of volcano top without just putting Slime in though the top. I asked if he wanted to play the other day and nope.

Excellent toy – We loved this toy. The red slime came perfect but one of the gold slime came too sticky. We added baking soda and fixed that. We know how to make slime so that wasn’t an issue. My son has been playing for hours. I highly recommend it.

Perfect gift is you hate the parents! – My 4 year old is obsessed with Dino’s and just getting into slime I though this would be the best of both worlds kind of gift.. I regretted it the second I opened the slime filled eggs. It’s the kind of slime that just will not get off you! I’ve gotten other toys with slime and usually it’s a lot easier to work with but not this one. I mean it’s great for my kid he really does love it but definitely not for me. We’ll still use the kit just with playdoh next time

Cool set, crappy slime – I am not a slime-hater by any means. Love the stuff. It’s one of the few things I actually enjoy playing with my kids. This slime, however, REALLY sucked. It was super wet, sticky and hard to manage. We are in a hot & humid climate so maybe that made a difference. I only managed to save one egg’s worth of slime after playing with this kit, so we’ll have to get some more to continue enjoying the volcano. We got everything to work as described & it was fun! Just wish the slime had been better.

Tons of fun for my 3-4 year old – When playing with slime, you gotta expect to get dirty. We put the volcano on a cookie sheet and let it erupt time after time. The only issue is, every time you use it, you lose some of the slime and I cannot find a place to buy more replacement slime. Would be nice if there was MORE slime to play with and only 1 color instead of 4 because you end up mixing them all together, but my son loves searching for the dino bones in the lava and really liked trying to find the dino eyeballs too.

It’s only slime, the kind that is kinda sticky and leaves your hands feeling grossly wet. But if you like that type of thing, then it’s fine. I don’t care for slime. The only real problem with this is that it can be difficult to clean. You need to set it upside down to drain it, if you want to reuse as much slime as possible, and either run tons of water through it or wipe it down with paper towels. But it is pretty fun.

My son is into volcanos and dinos so I figure it would be perfect but it was like the volcano literally exploded on my table “and on the cat” (have you ever tried getting slime off a cat?). Its also difficult to make the red slime actually resemble a volcano as advertised. Great concept and we will still play with the volcano set but with our kinetic sand and that slime (once its off everything) is going in the garbage.
