Perfect for a professor of physics – My friend graduated with a ph.d in physics and thought he could use some help in the field. It’s on his desk at his new job and he is flourishing. Thanks Melissa and Doug whoever y’all are. I honestly think he would not have made it without this abacus cuz he’s a bit smooth brained.

Just as advertised – I have a pretty tough five-year-old daughter who can destroy anything. She’s learning how math in kindergarten learning addition, subtraction, and soon multiplication. This is the best to assist the children in face-to-face learning. Everything is taught on the tablet for this generation, but learning is reinforced face-to-face. The product is very well made.

Melissa & Doug Abacus – This is great value for the price I paid. My son, who is almost five, has shown an interest in basic math facts, and since he can’t read yet, I thought this would be a good way for him to start learning math. Right out of the package, he and his siblings started making up games to go with it. It seems like it’s good quality and will last a while since everything except the rods the beads are threaded on appears to be wood. This was a good addition to our toy stash, and it would also make a great gift.
