This is a small series of toys great for Toddler builders. – For any child who absolutely loves Paw Patrol, Megablocks ( known for much larger blocks than Duplo ) has come up with a series of kits that allow the child to build something based on the Paw Patrol theme. These blocks are the same size as Lego Duplo blocks and are just right for Toddlers who aren’t ready for the much smaller Lego blocks. Each set includes at least one Paw Patrol character and some include 2 or 3. These are specially made so that their feet are large enough to snap onto the building blocks. There’s a fire truck with the character Marshall and a command center which I think comes with Chase, Marshall and Skye. The pieces are large enough that they aren’t easily lost and there’s not hundreds of pieces like Legos so the kits go together quickly and come apart quickly so they can be rebuilt over and over. It’s easy to do a lot of creative play with just one or two sets. Use a couple of small boxes to create a small town or city and then pretend that one building is on fire. Marshall and his fire engine rush to the scene. Chase is there with his police car to block off the area. Skye might show up in her helicopter and rescue people off the rooftops. Rubble can show up with his bulldozer and clean up the area or help prepare an area for new buildings. It’s a great series and encourages a lot of language deciding what equipment you need at a fire or to get a dog out of a hole. Lots of problem solving as Paw Patrol does what they do best, they rescue people and dogs from bad situations. If you don’t know the characters already, you’ll soon learn that each character is a different breed of dog, each dresses in a different color ( Marshall the fire dog wears read while Chase the police dog wears blue and Skye the first female helicopter character wears pink ) and each has something that they’re good at that helps rescue those in trouble. Zuma rescues people in trouble in the water.

My 3 1/2 year old son loves it. – He needed a little help putting it together, but he was able to do it on his own with us guiding him. We have several of these mega blocs toys and play with them all.

Full of frustration and tears – My 3yo is obsessed with construction and Rubble. I thought he’d love this toy and he was sooo excited. It does not stay together. The scoop and barrel constantly fall off and barely even stay on. It will basically fall off the second you attach it and try to touch it.

Paw Patrol Goodness – Build Quality is not as good as Duplo – 4 Year old son loves Paw Patrol. This Rubble did not have the issues I see on some of the other Mega Bloks products that are Paw Patrol related. Solid Pick. My son seems to like Rubble the most!
