      Son loves, but the sound is so piercing – My 3 year old son loves this toy, but the back-up “beeping” is so high pitched and piercing (like a smoke alarm) it hurts the ears of the rest of my family. I bought it in April and kept it for his birthday and now it’s too late to return (my own fault), but we had to take out the batteries so it stops making that terrible banshee shrieking sound. Other than that, though, it’s a pretty good toy, and would make a great gift for a parent you’d like to annoy while at the same time gaining points from the kid.

      My Grandsons Fight Over One but It’s Not Too Expensive to Buy Two! – My daughter has three boys under 4. ALL of them love trucks. One of the boys received this tow truck as a gift but it caused arguments–and yes, my angels would fight over it. When my daughter asked me to buy the same one, I protested. She didn’t want another because the first one was out of commission. She wanted it so the two biggest boys (still pretty little) could each have one. I get it. Lots of the little pieces are functional. Lights, sounds, hoist and cars to tow. . . it seems like everything works. The small size is perfect for those (usually) grubby little hands with fingers capable of getting into trouble with many things. So i sat down to play with them. . . we might need another one sooner than expected. 😀

Yes he loves the truck we got it today I can already see where problems will occur and the cab hinge is already ready to break it appears. Also this is a pull back and let go kind of toy. The noises it makes are LOUD very very loud the horn noise will make u want to put pencils in your ears and bust your own ear drums to keep from having to hear that high pitch loud noise. But it’s a cool little truck
