Love the concept but… – I love the concept and our 18 month old really enjoyed playing with them. However, there is one thing you can’t see/see well in the pictures. That is that the string isnt directly attached to the toy. Instead there is a round wooden ball on one end. It is the perfect size to choke on!

Very thick and sturdy – These are cute and very sturdy. I think the most annoying part is that the end has a weighted ball on it to keep the lace from pulling through, but for unskilled lacers, it makes the string fall out.

She loves to play with it every day though and it’s definitely helped her motor skills! I love that there’s two of them too. I can undo one while she works on the other and then switch (she doesn’t have the ability to go back through and unlace yet). Over all super cute, durable, and great for helping motor skills!
