Not as big as I remember – I had this item for my children when they were little. I bought this for my grandson and it’s pretty small and the sounds are not very loud.

Not what it used to be – Its a lot smaller than the original one. The spinner in the middle makes too much noise; it almost drowns out the animal sounds. Not your best work Fisher Price.

Very strange – Thought this item would be like the old one I had when I was a kid. Boy was I wrong. This item says the name of the animal and the sound while it’s spinning. The spinner is very loud so it’s hard to hear. And it does it when you pull the chord. The original did it when it landed on the animal.

Disappointed – This toy is not what it used to be – much smaller and when you put the pointer on a particular animal, it didn’t always coordinate with the correct animal.

Can’t Understand Voice or Animal Sounds – I was so excited to give this to our grandson, but disappointed when it arrived. It was much smaller than my kids, which is fine and maybe easier to transport, but the pull cord is shorter and you can’t understand the sounds. The only way we could understand the voice or animal sound was to pull the cord slowly and listens as it retracts – neither of which a 2 or 4 year old child is going to do. I don’t think it’s a battery issue since we just took it fresh out of the box. Anyone have the same problem or solution? If it should work better, will return for a new one.
