Loved it – So I bought this for my child almost 3 yrs old. So we both had an amazing time. She would hammer the chisel a few time, and help brush off the excess clay on the stones. And every time we find a stone embedded in the clay she would be so excited. We uncovered 2 extra stone which was a good surprise. Even the aftermath look so real. I love it. Only minor downside was that the stones were really close to each other. It wasn’t long to find it all. But it’s not a big concern. I definitely recommend it to everyone, even younger kids with parental supervision for probability of choking hazard.

Quick and fun – This is not a particularly sophisticated science kit- basically a plaster brick the kid gets to hammer apart and find the stones within – but it kept my 9yo very happily occupied for a couple of hours and the included booklet was interesting to read once he’d hammered to his heart’s content.
