Not impressed – My kids were so excited for this gift. It was not worth it. By the time we melted the soap and mixed everything in it would start drying up before we could fully pour it into mold very frustrating we had to keep melting. Big fail for us I do not recommend

Nice activity – I did this with my 3.5 y.o. granddaughter. She loves dinosaurs and was thrilled with it. I found heating the soap in another container and then transferring it to be a mess and a waste. We then used the provided beaker and it worked just fine. I do wish 2 more stands were provided but we made do by propping it up. The molds fit together nicely and provides a large lip to hold while pouring so the extra stands aren’t needed but would be nice. We did multi colored soaps which did not require a wait time…as long as only one block at a time was melted. I can’t say as to the quality of the soap in use as I left before bath time but cleanup was easy.

Cute but take time – Me and my little brother LOVED making these soaps. They are SO cute when they are finished and we were so excited to use it. They’re adorable and smell great, but the process of making them was a little difficult. The soap would heat quickly but would cool a little to fast to properly pour into the mold. He’s 9 and had a hard time because the soap would dry too fast around the spout and while pouring but a lot of time and working with him we got it. There’s a lot of reheating and scraping involved but the process itself isn’t hard. Unfortunately when we received ours one of the scent bottles must have leaked a bit and was half empty, but otherwise they’re great! They are cute, simple, and smell great too!

Kind of difficult for a child to do – It was a little difficult for my 6 year old to do much because it had to be heated and added right away but she was excited about it. Our first attempt did not turn out the greatest but overall it’s a neat little gift!

So hard to do but turns out so cute – So I was going to start this review cursing this thing. It says to put the soap into a microwave safe cup melt then transfer into the provided beaker but by the time you do that it’s already hardened, we ended up just using the provided beaker for the whole thing and it worked great . My daughter wanted to do the 4 colors and that was so difficult you have to move quick so the kids really couldn’t even do it other then hand me the stuff. Then when you pour the soap into the molds it spills everywhere and some of it hardened in the tube that fills the mold. We did 4 colors on the first one, 3 colors on the 2nd one and 2 on the 3rd. We haven’t started the second set yet. But after all that it was so worth it. They turned out so so cute! If you’re patient and so are your kiddos them yeah give it a try.
