Novelty flashlight – My son is obsessed with both flashlights and Blue’s clues lately so I thought this would be a perfect flashlight for him to use. However, the light itself isn’t very bright and doesn’t show much in darker areas. Also, you have to hold onto the handle to keep the flashlight on, because of this feature my son quickly lost interest. I wish there was an option to keep the light on without holding it. Otherwise, it’s an okay flashlight with Blue’s sound effects.

SO CUTE AND DURABLE !!! – My 20 month old has put this poor flashlight to the test and every time it comes out okay. I love that the handle fits into her hand perfect, she has no issues carrying it around. The light doesn’t stay on and only turns on when she triggers it so I am not worried about the battery running out. It makes authentic adorable Blue sounds when triggered and is not annoying or loud. It doesn’t play music or any long term sounds it just has the little bark noises Blue makes. I can see my daughter using this for a long time.

My daughter loves it – I gifted this to my 2 year old daughter for Christmas. She uses it sporadically and loves it when she uses it. The light isn’t as bright as a regular flashlight but still puts off a lot of light for a child’s toy. The sounds of Blue’s Clues are clear and have good volume when you squeeze the handle to light the flashlight. Since she doesn’t use it often, I cannot rate durability. My daughter had trouble squeezing the handle since she is 2 years old but got better the more she played with it.
